Winky Boo Rocks T-Shirts Inspired From
Childhood Imagination, the Love of Play, and Positivity
We were thrilled when our friends from Winky Boo informed us via Twitter, that we were the lucky winners of a free t-shirt. Boy was I thrilled. I got to choose from three great designs that can be found at Winky Boo!
What really got me with this situation was that social media allowed two imaginative and creative entities to come together and share in the appreciation of great design and the mavels of modern technology. Who knew I could win a free t-shirt just for Twittering?
Asides from my thrill of connecting with someone from the East Coast and winning a shirt was how impressed I was with the design, the feel, and look of the shirts. The company creates a very playful, energetic, imaginative, and postive spirit. Beyond the designs, Winky Boo has a great story about how it’s concept came into place.
Winky Boo was born from the love and playfulness of a grandfather who re-named his three grandchildren: the oldest, Winky, after her performance as a flying monkey in The Wizard of Oz; the youngest, Boo Boo, the soft cuddly pal of Yogi Bear; and myself, Princess, who never left the house without wearing every piece of jewelry I owned, including my crown, of course.
Created for those who still know how to play and be imaginative, Winky Boo is a growing company that you should check out. Amy, the owner is awesome and very personable. She made my experience similar to the customer service you get in a high end boutique!
So what shirt did I choose?
The “Jester”

Available for both men and women this yellow V-Neck T-shirt is both fashionable and comedic at the same time. The contrast of yellow and an almost turquoise colored Jester really makes the graphics of the tee pop.
This is a great shirt for men to wear under a sports coat. Women look equally as adorable in this shirt especially when paired with a high waisted skirt as Amy displays on Winky Boo’s website.
Here is how Winky Boo Describes the “Jester” shirt:
What happened to class clowns? Kids are either too serious these days or too seriously messed up to even joke around about. Remember that crazy funny kid in your middle school classes who wore his underwear outside his pants and kept an Indian King Cobra up his sleeve? You’d walk around behind him with a fanny pack and say, “Someone needs to get this kid a manager!” No? Oh, ok, never mind.

The “Elephant” shirt is a great long T for women and “Hats” is a fun graphic shirt for guys!
